The pizza is one of the most famous snack or meal items. It is generally shared and consumed by numerous people but that’s not to say that a single person can’t devour one. The concept is that the dough or base can be as thick or thin depending on the preference. Then it’s topped off with pizza sauce along with several meat, seafood, or vegetable toppings. It has become one of the largest food industry businesses in almost every corner. It had branched out from the simple delivery and fast food item into a global phenomenon. There are literally hundreds of different types of pizzas and their price range can differ depending on the size and quality of toppings used. This meal is generally people and pocket friendly but there are people known for thinking out of the box and making some rather expensive ones. General Overview

The Louis XIII pizza can be purchased at the Agropoli in Salerno, Italy. This is created by Chef Renato Viola to be aligned along with his several top class dishes. This costs at a whopping $12,000. That alone is insane and begs the question if there is anyone who would buy it. The meal itself isn’t heavily advertised and is one of the restaurant’s most prized dishes but is rarely sold and for obvious reasons.

Another expensive one is from Margo’s Pizzeria which sells for $2,400 due to its white truffle toppings as well as a 24 karat gold leaf.
